Introduction
Are you a hydraulic mechanic, experienced and looking for a challenge? Look no further because we are looking for you, we have a wonderful international job for you.
Function
You will be responsible for assembling hydraulic parts in yacht building, think of hatches, doors, platforms, gangways and risers. The goal is that you will work independently in our assembly hall but also on location (international) both electrically and hydraulically. You will first start at our location in Rotterdam where we will teach you everything about our products and materials. Then we help you to finish and assemble these parts at our customers usually at the finishing yard. The final phase of our mechanic training program consists of providing service, which of course takes place at the location where the yachts are docked, i.e. internationally.
Job Requirements
You have a completed MBO education in mechatronics or WTB. This means you know what different materials are used in yacht building and preferably you have experience with machine benching, because of your education you can independently read and work with technical drawings. The most ideal candidate has experience or at least knowledge of bending hydraulic pipes. If you already have experience or interest in ship or yacht building we are totally keen to get acquainted.
As already mentioned, we may ask you to work in other locations (yards), this implies that you possess a valid B driver's license.
We are looking for someone who likes to work independently and knows how to get things done, can work well with (sometimes) international colleagues and customers, because of the international nature of the position we expect you to be able to express yourself well in Dutch or English and absolutely not afraid to ask questions if things are not clear.
Offer
– An excellent salary
– A full-time (40-hour) work week
– The opportunity to continue to develop yourself internally. Think of new certificates, but also to grow to eventually perform the more difficult and interesting jobs (internationally).
