Function
About the position:
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating construction and maintenance projects within the petrochemical sector. You will work on multidisciplinary projects ranging from maintenance to new construction and ensure that everything is done safely, on time and within budget. You will be the lynchpin of the team and ensure flawless execution according to the applicable quality and safety standards.
What will you do?
- Leading complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate various teams such as performers, foremen and safety coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, with a strong focus on incident prevention.
- Establish and monitor project schedules and budgets, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Resolve technical issues that may arise during execution.
- Maintain close collaboration and communication with all parties involved, from internal teams to suppliers and clients.
Job Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- You have extensive knowledge of assembly operations, field machining and torque/tensioning, and experience in the petrochemical sector.
- Leadership qualities and organizational skills are a must; you are able to manage teams effectively and maintain oversight.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment and you are familiar with relevant standards and legislation.
- You have completed an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
