Function
What will you do?
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of both small and large projects within the petrochemical industry and energy transition. You will work closely with various teams and ensure flawless execution of projects, within the set deadlines and budgets. You report directly to the management and are part of the management team. Besides the daily operational tasks, you play an important role in strategic decisions and contribute to the growth of the company.
Your duties will include:
- Lead the execution of projects both in the workshop and on site.
- Preparation of financial and management reports, and steering by KPIs.
- Monitor progress, staff scheduling, costs and timely delivery of projects.
- Managing and developing the operational team.
- Co-chair team meetings and ensure that agreements made are followed.
- Monitor contracts and agreements, avoid risks and claims.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and actively build customer relationships.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors, including framework agreements.
- Provide input to annual strategic plans and management reports.
- Ensure records and data capture are in order.
- Implement and follow safety, quality and environmental policies within the organization.
- Continuous improvement of quality management systems.
Job Requirements
What do you bring?
- A completed college degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial position within a technical environment.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in changing circumstances.
- Ability to remain calm and objective in challenging situations.
